The passing of our beloved friend and fellow Marine William
“Bill” Feeney brought sorrow to us all. He
will be remembered for his constant dedication and inspiration to do whatever
may be requested. In his last assignment
as the Chairman of the GIVE BACK Program he was instrumental in spearheading
available donations to the many needy organizations throughout the local area. While these programs helped many, Bill always
reminded us it is better to give then to receive. As I write these words the Detachment is
preparing to attend Bill's memorial service in Dammeron Valley on the 24th of
August. May we make him Proud.
