Saturday, April 13, the Detachment will hold its April meeting. There is a full schedule: Marine Sakston Tesch, who is a Junior at Utah Tech University, will be presented with a $1000 scholarship, courtesy of Detachment 1270.
Next, our guest speaker Tracy Williams from OsteoStrong will talk to us about skeletal strength and healthy bone aging, a topic near and dear to all of us! Mobility is dependent on healthy bones, strong muscles, high tendon integrity, ligaments and cartilage.
Tracy, owner of OsteoStrong St. George, will share how the body's natural ability can be triggered when we build and maintain a robust skeletal system. Tracey's clinic is here to help. This subject is equally important to men and women as we age so bring your spouse to this presentation!
April is also officer nomination month. If you are interested in nominating or being nominated for an officer staff position be sure to attend this meeting. The 4 elected positions are commandant, senior and junior commandants, and judge advocate.
Doors open at 0815 for meet and greet and the meeting will start at 0900.
