ST. GEORGE – The Dixie Elks Lodge #1743 held its
first clay shooting competition at the Southern Utah Shooting Sports Park,
Purgatory Clay Sports venue in Hurricane Nov. 2. Prizes were awarded for the top shooters and
high overall scores at a celebratory dinner at the lodge at 5 p.m. The event will benefit Elks charities and
youth activities, including scholarships.
Utah Dixie Marine Corps League Detachment #1270 raised the flag to begin
the ceremonies. OooRah!!
