On 14 May 2016, Dave Waters was installed as Commandant of Utah Dixie Detachment #1270, Marine Corps League, St. George, Utah. Dave Waters served for 33 years in the Marine Corps, retiring as a Colonel. He spent most of his career in aviation as a pilot.
