September 3rd is the premiere of the documentary film
“Dreams of the Black Echo” This film
features interviews with several local veterans (including our members) and has
the honor of opening this year’s DOCUTAH
International Film Festival. The film is
a very fresh, non-political look through the eyes of young students.
The Premiere Gala on September 3rd begins with an appetizer
reception at Cappeletti’s Restaurant on Tabernacle Street at 6:00pm followed by
screening of the film in the Electric Theater at 7:00pm.
A donor has agreed to pay the ticket cost of $50 per person
for up to 50 Vietnam Era veterans and one guest, a total of 100 tickets. Interested Vietnam Era veterans must reply to
me not later than Friday August 24th to
reserve free tickets. Please reply right
away before the free tickets are all gone.
Additional tickets may be purchased online by going to
docutah.com then click on the “Buy Festival Tickets” red button, then scroll
down to the “Festival Gala” option.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Cox box-office.
