Thank
you to everyone who came to the Pizza Party last night. We had a great time and there was plenty of
food! We learned a little bit about
Chesty Puller, and it was also the date of the victory at Belleau Wood (June
26).
Our
next get together will be July 26 at the Marriott Courtyard from 5PM - ? Just show up and have a beverage and share a
few laughs. More details to follow but
for now just mark your calendar.
One
last item: Bernie will not be
heading directly home from the hospital but rather he will be recovering and
rehabilitating at the Veterans Home in Ivins.
Go see him, he'll be glad you did!
If you do that this coming Saturday you might want to time it so you can
get in on a program called "Utah's Dixie Veterans' Stories." This is a panel discussion about life in the
military and returning to civilian life.
At least one of the panel members is a resident at the Home. That program starts at 2 p.m.
