Next, our guest speaker Tracy Williams from OsteoStrong will talk to us about skeletal strength and healthy bone aging, a topic near and dear to all of us! Mobility is dependent on healthy bones, strong muscles, high tendon integrity, ligaments and cartilage. Tracy, owner of OsteoStrong St. George, will share how the body's natural ability can be triggered when we build and maintain a robust skeletal system. Tracey's clinic is set up to help. This subject is equally important to men and women as we age, so bring your spouse to this presentation!
We will also be discussing the annual detachment picnic on May 4 starting at noon, at Mathis Park. This is the same park we've held it the last two years. What we need to settle at this meeting is what to grill, side dishes, and desserts. We also need to get an idea of how many are coming to the picnic.April is also officer nomination month so if you are interested in nominating or being nominated for an officer staff position be sure to attend this meeting. The four elected positions are Commandant, Senior and Junior Commandants, and Judge Advocate.
Doors open at 0815 for meet and greet and the meeting will start at 0900.
