12 Nov Veterans Day Breakfast

Village Inn is participating in the free breakfast offer to all Veterans on Monday, 12 November.  Choose 4 INN-credible items to create your own Village Inn breakfast.  I have verified that the St. George Village Inn is participating in this breakfast for Veterans.  CLICK HERE for Village Inn's information.

In addition, Terrible Herbst on SunRiver Parkway is providing a free car wash for all active and retired military on Sunday, November 11th and Monday, November 12th.  The address is 4655 S. Pioneer Road, St. George, UT.

Extras for Honor Flight Receptions

Marines:  I was in the Las Vegas Airport awaiting my flight.  It was announced that included with those unloading from the plane was a WWII Honor Flight veteran.  Maybe someone in the Detachment needs a similar hat???

 

He returned alone after the other Honor Flight veterans had returned because he had fallen and wasn't up to the earlier flight.  It was heartwarming to see the honor he received from everyone in view in the airport.

       Thank you for the donation of $250 toward the Pine View Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program, UT-20161.  Our cadets enjoyed serving during the competition and allowing some of our cadets to observe the competitive shooters from all over the world.
