Marines, Corpsmen, and Associates:
Utah Dixie Detachment 1270 will meet next Saturday at
the Elks Lodge at 0830 for breakfast, followed by a business meeting at 0900. We will have two, brief presentations. First, Tom Lamb, Outreach Coordinator at the
Vet's Center, will give us insight into a Washington County equestrian program
for veterans with PTSD that we need to support. Then, our own Kelly Bornhoeft, who is a State
Career Readiness Counselor for Citizen Soldier For Life, will give us an
overview of his job and what we can do to help.
Any Associate Members who have not taken the MCL oath of
membership will be sworn in. John Mayer will give us a breakdown of the recent
golf tournament success, and Robert Reinbolt, Donations Committee Chair, will
propose 3 donations on which we need your vote.
Please plan to attend this meeting as there will be other issues to
discuss that we need your input on.
